On 27th July 2025, ArchWizard partnered with Canberra CC to host an exciting Racing Event that transformed the community space into a hub of speed, competition, and family fun. Designed to appeal to both children and adults, the event showcased how gaming can bridge generations while delivering an unforgettable, interactive experience.
A Triple Racing Setup for All Ages
To ensure inclusivity and maximum participation, ArchWizard prepared three immersive racing stations:
One PlaySeat for kids, specially set up to give younger participants a safe yet exhilarating way to experience racing.
One PlaySeat for adults, offering a more advanced simulator-style challenge for parents and older players.
This thoughtful setup allowed everyone — from first-time gamers to experienced players — to enjoy the thrill of virtual motorsports side by side.
Gran Turismo 7: The Centerpiece of the Event
The star of the day was Gran Turismo 7 (GT7), one of the most realistic and celebrated racing simulators on PlayStation. Known for its lifelike graphics and precision gameplay, GT7 gave participants a chance to:
Race on iconic tracks from around the world.
Test drive a variety of vehicles, from family-friendly models to high-performance supercars.
Experience dynamic weather and track conditions that made every race unique.
The game’s balance of realism and accessibility made it a perfect choice for both casual players and racing enthusiasts.
Community Spirit in Action
From the start, the event was filled with energy and excitement. Children lined up enthusiastically for their turns on the PlaySeats, laughing and cheering each other on as they navigated virtual circuits. Parents joined in the fun, often competing in friendly races that quickly became crowd favorites. The combination of children’s and adult stations created a lively dynamic where families bonded over shared challenges and celebrated one another’s victories.
ArchWizard staff were on hand throughout the day, providing guidance on gameplay mechanics, assisting with setups, and encouraging participants to make the most of their time on the tracks. Their presence ensured a smooth experience for newcomers while also helping seasoned gamers push their skills further.
Beyond Gaming: Building Connections
What made the day truly special was not just the racing itself, but the atmosphere of community and connection. Families had the rare opportunity to step away from daily routines and immerse themselves in a shared activity that balanced fun, learning, and healthy competition. The event highlighted how gaming can go beyond entertainment to become a tool for education, coordination, and intergenerational bonding.
Looking Ahead
The Canberra CC Racing Event stands as a successful example of how creative collaborations between local organizations and gaming specialists like ArchWizard can create meaningful community experiences. By combining cutting-edge technology with thoughtful planning, the event delivered joy, excitement, and lasting memories for all who attended.
ArchWizard looks forward to continuing its mission of bringing immersive, interactive events to communities across Singapore and beyond — ensuring that gaming is not only about play but also about connection, learning, and shared moments of joy.
